Winnipeg Entrepreneur Delivers Top 10 Grocery Product for 2011

SodaStream, the world leader in home produced sparkling beverages was one of the 10 top products highlighted for its innovation at the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers Tradeshow. Each product was judged in three categories including most unique, most buzz-worthy, and best consumer response. Employment Insurance (EI) Special Benefits for Self-Employed People

Beginning in January 2011, self-employed Canadians will be able to access Employment Insurance (EI) special benefits. There are four types of EI special benefits:

             materinity benefits;

             parental benefits;

             sickness benefits; and

             compassionate care benefits

Local entrepreneur powers up for The Shopping Channel

Winnipeg entrepreneur Lori Mitchell of Tomboy Tools Canada will be on The Shopping Channel on December 15. Lori will be doing four live shows that day as part of their Hot Holiday Gift Shows. Tune in at 11 am, 3 pm, 6 pm and 11 pm Eastern time to see Tomboy Tools power up for the season.
