Seminars and Workshops
One of our goals is to fill the experience gap that faces many women.
The team at the Women's Enterprise Centre of Manitoba has developed a seminar series that specifically addresses the unique needs of women desiring business ownership.
You can participate in classroom sessions which are offered regularly at the Women’s Enterprise Centre of Manitoba in Winnipeg. Details about these sessions are included below in the Start Up to Sustainability section.
A new on-line business plan series is also available. This allows participants to develop a comprehensive business plan at a time and in a location that works best for them.
Start-Up to Sustainability
These are introductory sessions for women in the early stages of business start-up or operation, and those considering entrepreneurship as a career option. These interactive sessions will provide you with the information you to need to launch and operate your business successfully.

Time:
Start and end times vary so be sure to check the attached seminar schedule for each presentation in which you have an interest. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.
Cost:
Price for the Start Up to Sustainability Sessions ranges from $25 to $30 per class.

Meters are free weekdays after 5:30 pm.
The new meters accept all denominations of coins, as well as Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
The meter dispenses a receipt to put on the dash of the vehicle.

Tech Tuesdays
Updates... upgrades... uploads... social media... apps... software... hardware... e-commerce... websites... shopping carts... cloud technology... where do you start?
This new Women’s Enterprise Centre series is designed to help you find your path through the business technology maze. Join us on selected Tuesdays for lunch and an hour long presentation designed to help answer your burning questions on business applications of technology.
Time: 12:00 to 1:00 pm
Cost:
$25 per class, includes light lunch.

Experienced and Expanding
Over the years, our clients have become more knowledgeable and experienced. The “Experience Speaks” sessions are geared to women at the growth and expansion stage of their business. Each of the sessions will draw on the expertise and real life experiences of the participants and the facilitator. Sessions are limited to just 20 women.
Time:
