Mabel Wieler, CGA
Mabel Wieler is self-employed in her own full service public practice firm Mabel Wieler Certified General Accountant Professional Corporation. In addition to her responsibilities with the firm, she delivers accounting and software courses and seminars.
In her work with a variety of entrepreneurial firms, Mabel offers personalized and innovative service to her clients so that she can transfer knowledge into value for each client. Her wide range of experience has assisted business owners attain success in areas such as corporate and personal tax planning, bank financing, budgeting, establishing good financial and accounting software controls, and maintaining a reliable and timely system of financial reporting. She also implements Simply Accounting and Accpac software applications.
In addition to being on the Board of the Women's Enterprise Centre of Manitoba, Mabel is also involved with Canadian Tax Foundation, Women Business Owners of Manitoba, and the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce. She served as the Chair of Finance for the Lieutenant Governor’s Youth Experience Program, is a Charter member of a National Software Advisory Committee for Simply Accounting, is an active member of the Finance and Audit Committee for the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, and is on the CGA Public Practice Committee.
