Karen Keppler
Karen Keppler is the Managing Partner of Cathedral Group, a firm she owns with her husband. Based in St. Andrews, Manitoba, the company specializes in self-employment training and counselling; and assisting new entrepreneurs with business plans and business commencement. Strategic planning and project management are cornerstones of the company’s service offerings. The Cathedral Group also works closely with Virtual Incubation Manitoba, Smart Awards, the Computer Lending Library and the Aboriginal Business Innovation Centre.
Karen holds a BA in Administrative Studies from the University of Winnipeg and an MBA from the University of Manitoba. Over the years she has been involved with the Association of Manitoba Incubators and the Canadian Association of Business Incubators.
She began her entrepreneurial journey with the launch of Karen’s Flowers and then Karen’s School of Floral Design. From 1997 to 2006 she was Co-Chair of the Winnipeg Library Foundation which worked tirelessly to raise $18 million in funding for the Millennium Library.
