In this session you will explore and begin to refine your business concept. Various primary and secondary research tools and techniques will be discussed so that you can evaluate what research you need to obtain in order to have the necessary information to develop a realistic and effective plan.
Alanna Keefe, Business Advisor
An experienced entrepreneur and accomplished business and fund development professional, Alanna has 20 years experience serving the not-for-profit sector. At 23 she sold her first entrepreneurial venture, a successful contemporary gallery/custom framing business. Over the past 10 years Alanna has operated a consulting practice focused in the areas of leadership and fund development, strategic planning, human resources management, marketing, and communications. In addition, she has and worked as a member of senior leadership teams for several large arts and educational institutions where she implemented innovative and effective programs, identified business opportunities, led operational improvement, and drove implementation for start-up and existing business partnerships. In 2007 Alanna initiated her MBA studies at the University of Manitoba.

The new meters accept all denominations of coins, as well as Visa, Mastercard and American Express. The meter dispenses a receipt to put on the dash of the vehicle.
